Cornwall is a blessed with fantastic locally sourced food and amazing restaurants and cafes. From freshly made Cornish Pasty's to award winning restaurants, Cornwall has some much choice and there is something for everyone.

Alturnum

Rising Sun: Family friendly and dog friendly country pub, that offers great quality, seasonal food in a very family atmosphere.

Bude

Sea Fever: Serving Cornish seafood, Sea Fever is a very friendly and laid back, French Bistro inspired restaurant. When available, they serve lobster caught in Bude Bay and the menu varies with the daily catch.

Life's A Beach: Overlooking the beautiful Summerleaze beach, Life's a Beach is a friendly restaurant, bar and take away. The menu is comprised of quality, affordable dishes made using fresh local ingredients from hand-picked suppliers that are as passionate about their food as LAB is.

Temple Cornwall: Started by four friends, all with a passion for quality, locally sourced food, they created Temple as a place that they would want to eat at. The menu changes daily depending on what food is available from their local suppliers, who share their passion for quality food.

Potters:  Located in the busy seaside town of Bude, Potters is owned and run by Chef Oly Clarke and wife Nikki. At Potters we showcase fresh, seasonal and carefully sourced local produce. Our menu will be changing weekly, if not daily, and our dishes will be simple but delicious. We like to describe it best as as Cornish tapas. Crackington Haven

The Coombe Barton Inn: From traditional fish and chips using the freshest of locally caught prime white fish, to a Middle Eastern Mezze Plate, or a far eastern slow cooked Curry, or a succulent well-bred local steak, they should have something for all tastes.

Lewannick

Coombeshead Farm Restaurant & Café : Set amongst 66 acres of meadows, woodland and oak-lined streams, Coombeshead Farm is a working farm offering glorious isolation and farmhouse comforts in the heart of Cornwall’s rural countryside.

The restaurant serves five course dinners with a varying menu, which changes with the seasons, whilst the cafe offers food from their own fields and other local producers.

Padstow

Paul Ainsworth at Number 6: Michelin star restaurant located in a beautiful Georgian townhouse in the heart of Padstow. They serve modern British food with a focus on locally sourced Cornish produce. Paul Ainsworth at Number 6 has three dining spaces all serving a unique à la carte menu experience.

Rick Stein Seafood Restaurant: Opened by Rick Stein and Jill Stein in 1975, they now have an international reputation for serving the freshest fish and shellfish, celebrating Cornish produce, with ingredients sourced locally to create simple seafood dishes and classic flavours.

The Old Mill House Bistro: The Grade II listed former mill house takes pride in ordering very little and often from suppliers which means the food they serve is as fresh as possible. The menu is small but focuses on the amazing fish available on Cornish shores combined with the stunning meat and game locally produced.

Port Gaverne

Pilchards: This beach cafe is a few seconds walk and at high tide, the sea’s only a few yards away from the tables on the front decking. This is the perfect spot to listen to the lapping of the waves. The menu changes daily. For a more substantial evening meal, try their sister restaurant at The Port Gaverne Hotel next door.

Port Issac

Nathan Outlaw's Fish Kitchen: Located within a 15th century fisherman’s cottage in the heart of Port Isaac village, where they offer a selection of seafood dishes for the table. You could describe it as like Spanish Tapas but all seafood. They are committed to only buying and serving the best fish from local inshore day boats.

Nathan Outlaw's New Road Restaurant: The dishes prepared at Outlaw’s New Road reflect the location and time of year the ingredients are gathered. Indulge in an exploration of unique seafood preparation and cookery, hailing the wealth of exceptional seafood inhabiting the Cornish coast.

As of October 2022, The Good Food Guide awarded Outlaw's New Road 6th place in their 'Top 20 most exciting restaurants in Britain' guide.

Rock

The Mariners: Paul and Emma Ainsworth (of Paul Ainsworth at Number 6 fame) relaunched The Mariners pub in Rock, Cornwall in May 2019, which boasts a beautiful view of the Camel Estuary. Whether you are looking for a family feast, a light bite or just fancy sharing some of the smaller dishes with friends, The Mariners has something for all occasions. Washed down with a pint of your favourite Sharps Brewery beer.

The Dining Room Restaurant: A family run, fine dining restaurant in the beautiful, coastal village of Rock. The small, set price menu changes frequently according to the seasons, alongside advice from local suppliers. All of their meats are produced to high welfare standards and the fish is sourced sustainably.

Tintagel

Tintagel Brewery Bar & Bistro: Approximately 8 minutes from Tintagel Village, overlooking the spectacular North Cornish scenery with views spanning from Roughtor and Bodmin moor to the North Cornish coastline serving their very own home brewed beers on draft and bottled with a choice of 8 strengths to choose from. They also rear their own Wagyu beef for you to try.. Open Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 5pm daily.

Sunday lunch there is very popular with both locals and visitors alike. Serving a traditional Sunday roast with normally a choice of three types of meat and plenty of veg. For the vegetarians among you, they also have an offering to cater for your taste. Last orders for food on a Sunday is normally 4pm, but check on the day and book early to avoid disappointment.

Trebarwith Strand

Port William: Trebarwith Strand is a surfer’s paradise that draws locals and visitors from far and wide to its spectacular waves and golden sands throughout the year. The Port William looks out over it all from its cliff top location, offering an idyllic place to eat and drink beside the sea. Get cosy beside the log fire or dine outside to make the most of the views. Serving St Austell Brewery ales and a great wine list, there is something for everyone.
