The indoor heated swimming pool is a shared facility between Cherry Tree Cottage and us. Measuring 24'x12', our pool is just a short walk from the cottage and compliments the shared games room so there is plenty to keep everyone entertained.
The Pool hall was refurbished in April 2012 where we removed the old tired white painted timber frame that was clad in triple walled translucent sheeting and replaced it with a purpose made green oak framed structure glazed with argon filled double glazed windows and doors. The roof windows were also purpose made to ensure more light enters the pool area.

The Pool hall is accessed from the rear entrance door where there is a changing room with a shower, wash basin, WC and space to hang clothing etc has been provided. There is an adult seating area from where children can be supervised or where non-swimmers can sit around the table provided and read a book or magazine.
The Pool’s heat is maintained by an oil fired boiler that also serves the main house and Pool hall’s radiators. The lighting is powered from solar panels and mains electricity.
